Warmness on the Soul is an EP from Avenged Sevenfold. It was released on August 8, 2001 by Good Life Recordings. The CD features the video for the title track, "Warmness on the Soul" as an Enhanced CD bonus. This was the first CD to feature new guitarist Synyster Gates, and the first album to feature the heavy metal version of "To End The Rapture". Shadows (vocals), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), Zacky Vengeance (rhythm guitar) and Johnny Christ (bass), the band achieved mainstream success with their 2005 album City of Evil, which includes singles such as "Burn It Down", "Bat Country," "Beast and the Harlot" and "Seize the Day." The band's success followed with their self-titled album, that includes singles such as "Critical Acclaim", "Almost Easy", "Afterlife", "Scream" and "Dear God".
