Winter Sonata (a.k.a. Winter Ballad/Winter Love Story) was the second part of the KBS TV drama series Endless Love. This installment was produced in March 2002 in South Korea. It was broadcast on Japan's NHK and has been a major part of the Korean wave both there and throughout Asia. It is known as ????? (Fuyu no sonata) in Japanese, ???? (D?ngrì Liàn'g?) or ???? (D?ngjì Liàn'g?) in Mandarin Chinese, and B?n tình ca mùa ?ông in Vietnamese. he story begins when Joon-sang, who is the son of an eminent musician, moves to Chuncheon, a rural city in South Korea. Endless Love was the unofficial title for a set of four Korean drama series produced by KBS stations. It featured four parts, with each named after the seasons of the year.
