"Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" is the fourth and last single from pop singer Britney Spears' album Oops!... I Did It Again. It was released during the first quarter of 2001.
The song was written by record producer Robert Lange, his wife at the time, country music singer Shania Twain, and long-time Bryan Adams guitarist Keith Scott, and was produced by Lange. This track shows Britney explaining to her love that he shouldn't let her hear everything else from other people and should tell everything straight to her as she exclaims "Don't let me be the last to know."
The song is omitted on Spears' greatest hits album, Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. It's included as a bonus track on UK, Japanese and Australian editions of the album.
