The room was silent, and I was on this high from it the next day and wrote this song. Caillat releases her sophomore album, Breakthrough, in August 2009. Caillat was born in Newbury Park, California and grew up in Malibu, California as well. During her childhood, she studied piano and vocals. Her father, Ken Caillat, co-produced Fleetwood Mac's Rumours and Tusk albums; Caillat recalls being around the likes of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie as a child.
