In The Navy (ver. 1) by Village People - Piano Sheets and Free Sheet Music

About the Song
"In the Navy" is a 1979 hit song (U.S. #3) by Village People. The music video for the song was shot aboard the USS Reasoner (FF-1063), with the help of the United States Navy which actually used the song in promotional advertising until protests erupted over using taxpayer money for a music video of a controversial group. The song, as is the case with many other Village People songs, is often considered a gay anthem. Village People are a concept disco group formed in the late 1970s. The group is well known for their on-stage costumes as for their catchy tunes and suggestive lyrics. Original members were: police officer (Victor Willis), American Indian chief (Felipe Rose), cowboy (Randy Jones), construction worker (David Hodo), biker (Glenn Hughes) and Military man (Alex Briley). For the release of "In the Navy", both Willis and Briley appeared as an admiral and a sailor, respectively. Originally.    Download this sheet!
