Save Room (ver. 1) by John Legend - Piano Sheets and Free Sheet Music

About the Song
"Save Room" is the first single from John Legend's second album, Once Again. It is a joyful, cool love song that samples Gabor Szabo's version of the Classics IV hit "Stormy". As John recalls, "will.i.am brought the sample. I didn't even know the original. I just knew it was a nice organ sound and wanted to write to it. I just started mumbling along to it, finding my place in the melody and it worked for me." The song is different from Legend's previous singles as the piano is not used in the song. The absence of the piano is meant to profile Legend as a singer and not merely a pianist. John Stephens (born December 28; 1978) better known by his stage name John Legend; is an American soul singer; songwriter; and pianist. His debut studio album; the multiplatinum-selling Get Lifted; was released in late 2004; and features collaborations with rapper and producer Kanye West as well as Snoop Dogg. Piano notes and music reading No language is easy to learn except for our mother tongue. Mother tongue is a language which we start learning as soon as we are conceived. But learning some other language can be difficult if you are really not into it. Piano Notes are written in a completely different language. Agreed that the characters in the piano notes are very artistic and beautiful but they are equally strange to beginners and newcomers. But here is one interesting fact. Learning music reading from a piano notes music sheet is not a very difficult task. Actually it is much easier than learning a foreign Asian language like Chinese. Memorization and repetition are the two main ingredients for success in mastering the language of piano notes. So realistically speaking, once you are done reading the basics, all you have to do is practice the language as much as you can. To say in a very classical tone, practice till each and every note starts running through your veins. (More...)
