"22" is the fourth worldwide single from British pop singer Lily Allen's second album It's Not Me, It's You. The song will be released on August 24th 2009. Allen told the Observer Music Magazine December 2008 that this song about a female character who's all washed up at 30 wasn't intended to make her more elderly listeners depressed. She explained: "It's more about girls that haven't figured out what they want to do with themselves. Especially really pretty girls.
