In his biography, "Many Years From Now", McCartney is quoted as saying that the song is one of his favourites. Beatles' producer George Martin has also mentioned it as one of his favourite Paul McCartney songs. John Lennon reportedly told Paul he felt it was "the best tune on the album" and said in his 1972 Rolling Stone interview it was "one of my favorite Beatle tracks."
