The song's main riff, a Rolling-Stones fashioned lick, is performed by Bottrell. Former guitarist of Guns N' Roses, Slash, played in the song's scripted intro vignette. The song reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, as well as in 18 other countries.
