"Glass of Water" is a song featured on Coldplay's 2008 EP, Prospekt's March. Coldplay revealed the song (along with an unreleased track titled "Famous Old Painters") on October 29, 2007 through a message on their website and had considered the songs to appear on their (then codenamed) LP4. The announcement also suggested further delays of the (then) new album release, and the writer of the message assured readers that "the self insured deadline...still stands". The song's chorus moves in a 7â„4 time signature and has piano rolls in the softer sections of the song. The ending also has a coda, instead of a generic tonic crash ending. Coldplay are a alternative rock band formed in London; England in 1997. The group comprises vocalist pianist guitarist Chris Martin; lead guitarist Jonny Buckland; bassist Guy Berryman; and drummer multi-instrumentalist Will Champion. Coldplay have sold 32.5.
