About the Artist
The Uninvited was a band from Los Angeles in the United States. They were formed in 1988. The Uninvited formed their own record company, released three CDs on their own, won MTV's Beach House Band contest, and garnered a local following. After recording "Artificial Hip," the band moved to the Bay Area of California, started touring nationally and attracted the attention of Atlantic Records. After signing to Atlantic they released their self-titled major label debut, "The Uninvited," which included the single "What God Said" and the "Too High for the Supermarket." The band later split from Atlantic. The band stopped making music in 2002.
