"These Foolish Things (Remind Me of You)" is a popular song with words and music by Harry Link, Holt Marvell (real name: Eric Maschwitz), and Jack Strachey. It was written in 1935 for the London revue "Spread It Abroad", and was first performed by Judy Campbell. The song became a #1 hit in the US in the summer of 1936, primarily by British orchestra leader Carroll Gibbons, also represented by the Benny Goodman version.
Various other versions have been recorded including vocal arrangements featuring Bing Crosby, Billie Holiday, Frankie Laine, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Aaron Neville, Ronnie Milsap, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Nat "King" Cole, Joni James, Bryan Ferry, and Rod Stewart.
