Michelle Jacquet Branch (born July 2, 1983) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. She made her debut in 2000, and released the platinum-selling albums The Spirit Room and Hotel Paper in August 2001 and June 2003 respectively. During this period, she collaborated with Santana on the single "The Game of Love", which won a Grammy Award. In 2004, she formed the musical duo The Wreckers with fellow musician Jessica Harp. Michelle Branch will release her fourth solo album with record company Warner Bros. Nashville, Everything Comes and Goes, in Summer 2009. "Everywhere" is the debut single by pop rock singer-songwriter Michelle Branch, released from the album The Spirit Room (2001). It is one of her biggest hits, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its video shows Branch obsessing over a boy while she plays her guitar in an empty room. Branch's original version was used in the soundtrack of American Pie 2.
