"Does Your Mother Know?" was recorded in February 1979 and released as a single in April of that year. Written by Benny Andersson and Bjrn Ulvaeus, the song is something of a pastiche to 1950s/early 1960s-style rock & roll & touches on the subject of a man responding to the flirting of a much younger girl. "Does Your Mother Know?" deviated from the typical 'ABBA at their most famous' formula, in that the lead vocals were sung not by the female vocalists (Agnetha Fltskog & Anni-Frid Lyngstad) as was usually the case, but by Bjrn Ulvaeus. ABBA was a Swedish Eurovision Song Contest-winning pop music group active between 1972 and 1982. The quartet was formed through the friendship of Benny Andersson and Bjrn Ulvaeus and also consists of Anni-Frid Lyngstad (usually known as Frida) and Agnetha Fltskog.They topped the charts worldwide from the mid-1970s to the early 1980s.
