Caillat releases her sophomore album, Breakthrough, in August 2009. Caillat was born in Newbury Park, California and grew up in Malibu, California as well. Her father, Ken Caillat, co-produced Fleetwood Mac's Rumours and Tusk albums; Caillat recalls being around the likes of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie as a child.
