Sing For Absolution (ver. 1) by Matthew Bellamy - Piano Sheets and Free Sheet Music

About the Song
"Sing for Absolution" is a song by Muse from their third studio album, Absolution. It was released in May 2004 as the fourth single from that album, peaking at #16 in the UK Singles Chart (see 2004 in British music). The song also appears on the Absolution Tour DVD. A live acoustic version of the song serves as a B-side for the "Butterflies and Hurricanes" single. Usually it is played live with the guitars tuned half a step down. This video was produced by ARK of Sheffield, UK and released in May 2004. It depicts a populated civilised planet, probably a New Earth on which humans have settled. The camera starts viewing a city, possibly London, firing what appears to be missiles off-camera. As the camera pans left, the viewer can see massive ice formations, the apparent target for the missiles. Muse are on a rocket in the distance heading into space. Along the way, they pass by space debris in.    Download this sheet!
About the Artist
Matthew James Bellamy (born 9 June 1978) is an English rock musician, who is best known as the lead member of the band Muse. His role in the band is that of main songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and pianist. He possesses a tenor voice and is known for his use of the falsetto register. On 26 September 2008, the University of Plymouth awarded Bellamy an honourary doctorate degree in arts for his work in the field of music.[1] Bellamy's father, George, was the rhythm guitarist in the 1960s rock group The Tornados, who were the first British band to have a United States number one song, with "Telstar".[2] "Knights of Cydonia", a single from Muse's fourth album Black Holes & Revelations, is often cited as a tribute to that song, with its space rock sound and accompanying video depicting a cowboy's quest through an alien landscape. Bellamy's mother, Marilyn, was born in Belfast, and moved to England in the 1970s. On her first day in England she met George, who was at the time working as a taxi driver in London. They moved to Cambridge, where Matthew's older brother Paul was born, followed a couple of years later by Matthew himself. Bellamy started playing.
